“Viver é…Viver é uma peripécia. Um dever, um afazer, um prazer, um susto, uma cambalhota. Entre o ânimo e o desânimo, um entusiasmo ora doce, ora dinâmico e agressivo.
Viver não é cumprir nenhum destino, não é ser empurrado ou rasteirado pela sorte. Ou pelo azar. Ou por Deus, que também tem a sua vida. Viver é ter fome. Fome de tudo. A vida é um espaço e um tempo maravilhosos mas não se contenta com a contemplação. Ela exige reflexão. E exige soluções.
A vida é exigente porque é generosa. É dura porque é terna. É amarga porque é doce. É ela que nos coloca as perguntas, cabendo-nos a nós encontrar as respostas. Mas nada disso é um jogo. A vida é a mais séria das coisas divertidas.
